Thousands of people gathered in Bramhall Village on Saturday 24th June for this year’s Bramhall Festival organised by Bramhall Together Trust

Imagine FM hosted the event with brilliant MC Dave de Grey, and the stage entertainment included 80’s legends Hazell Dean and Kelly Wilde, 80’s themed pop quizzes and plenty of audience participation and sing-a-longs.

This year’s Festival highlights were:

  • * A new host for this year – Dave de Grey who entertained the crowd from the Imagine FM stage
  • * Visit from the Mayor of Stockport – Cllr Linda Weekes Holt
  • * 80’s pop legends Hazell Dean & Kelly Wilde who topped a great line up on the stage
  • * In The Village Square  was the ever popular Vinyl market, craft stalls, local community stalls and live entertainment

To create the street party atmosphere, Bramhall Lane South was closed throughout the day and many traders joined in with food sampling, pop up bars and street food, and festival hair braiding.

Chairman of Bramhall Together Trust, Roger Prydderch commented,

“It’s great to see so many people out and about in Bramhall and having a great family day out. This year’s event had a real street party atmosphere, helped by the road closure, street food, pop up bars, live entertainment and high quality market stalls.”
