Bramhall adds up as top location for Mathnasium

Maths tutoring business expands following strong demand for its proven approach. Mathnasium, an innovative childrens’ maths learning centre is opening in Bramhall shortly.

Mathnasium is a global organisation that has designed a proven maths learning programme which has already secured a strong track record with over 900 successful centres in America, Canada, Hong Kong and the Middle East. The Mathnasium approach uses specially trained maths instructors to deliver its innovative approach to learning maths; helping children between the ages of six and 16 years of age to develop a real understanding and love of the subject.

The Bramhall branch will be situated at 36 Woodford Road, right next to Marjoes and is to be run by franchise owner Aileen Clarkson.  UK-born Aileen already has a track record of running a number of highly successful centres in America and is keen to share her knowledge and passion for Mathanasium’s approach to maths to the UK market.  Having taught numeracy and GCSE Maths at Stockport College, she feels the Mathnasium method of teaching maths is perfect to supplement the standards set by the National Curriculum.

“Bramhall is a prime location for a Mathnasium centre, where we recognise a need for high-level support for maths to school children of all ages right up to studying for GCSE qualifications. Having experienced the progress and engagement that children have made when learning maths in America, I am thrilled to be opening my first centre in the UK. This will be the first location in the north west of England and I am looking forward to working within the community to help local children discover a love of maths, and to partner with local schools and PTA’s to support their fundraising efforts.”
