Bramhall Champion!

Bramhall Champion Liam Hoddes seized the Featherweight title in The North West Area Boxing Championship held at Kendal Town Hall.

The 18 year old from Bramhall beat Omar Dursuray from Fit 2XL ABC on points after dominating the fight over 3 rounds.

Liam is trained by former British Flyweight champion Shinebayar Sukhbaatar “Shinny Bayaar” at his gym Shinny’s ABC (Amateur Boxing Club) in Stockport. ‘Shinny Bayaar’ (born 27 August 1977) is a Mongolian professional boxer with British nationality fighting in the flyweight division.

Liam now hopes to compete for 2 more title fights before turning professional later in the year.

Professional fighters Scott Quigg (Current WBA Super Bantamweight champion) and John Murray (Former British Lightweight Champion) have already taken a vested interest in this future British champion and have both visited Liam at the gym to watch him train.
