Naomi tells us:

My inspiration to produce the single and video was threefold; firstly I do love Christmas and Christmas music, and I feel like we need a new Christmas song to add to the canon. Secondly, I feel that at the moment, there’s a lot of sadness, fear, and negativity in the world. I wanted to bring happiness to people, even for just 2 minutes of their day. And finally, because the Cambridge music course is so academic, I wanted the opportunity to try the more popular, technological side of music production.

The video will raise funds for leading children’s charity Save the Children who provide education, healthcare, disaster relief and rights protection for children across 120 countries worldwide. To find out more visit Save the Children. Talking about production of the video Naomi says:

Lots of my friends from Cambridge were involved, around 60 people in the video and some people from further afield, who emailed me clips to go in the video. I collaborated on the lyrics, and used some girls from Caius Choir for the backing vocals etc. It’s been quite a long process but so interesting, and so much fun!

The single was released on Monday 23rd November 2015 and is available to purchase on iTunes, Spotify, Amazon MP3, and Google Play – all proceeds will go to Save the Children.

You can also follow her on Facebook and Twitter.

Every purchase from iTunes will go straight to Save the Children, or people can donate on my JustGiving page if they would like to give a little more.
