Bramhall Osteopathic Practice has now been in Bramhall for 25 years.  Initially it was opened by Joanna Cheaney a registered osteopath and is now a multidisciplinary practice with 5 highly qualified and experienced osteopaths and other therapists offering acupuncture, women’s health physiotherapy, pilates, chiropody and massage therapy.

The osteopathic team (Joanna Cheaney, Maureen Pickup, Elizabeth Halsey, Elizabeth Curphey and Jose Fernandez) have a variety of special interests including the treatment of babies and children, women in pregnancy, sports injuries, postural problems and chronic joint conditions.

Treating an unsettled baby that doesn’t sleep well and is very grumpy can make a massive difference to a family.  Sleep and calm can often prevail after a few treatments!  Relief from spinal or joint pain can also improve the quality of your life

Fiona, our acupuncturist, has a special interest in fertility, assisted conception and gynaecological issues as well as experience in treating a wide range of health issues.

Justine, our massage therapist, combines the use of aromatherapy oils with various massage techniques and also offers reflexology, indian head massage and hopi ear candles.

Dee, our physiotherapist, is also a qualified pilates teacher and offers individual sessions to help you get started with pilates or give you a personalised exercise assessment and program.  She also specialises in the treatment of pelvic floor problems in both women and men – these often give rise to issues such as incontinence.

Suzanne is our chiropodist and podiatrist.  She treats all common foot conditions such as calluses, corns and skin infections and offers advise on general foot care plus orthotic options.
