Bramhalls Got Talent 2016 – a great day out!

Bramhalls Got Talent 2016 is tomorrow! Saturday 8 Oct kicking off at 11am, it will be non stop performances as 40+ contestants battle it out to be crowned Bramhall’s Got Talent winner 2016

Sponsored by Talent HR & Recruitment, a Wilmslow based company specialises in finding and nurturing talent in the workplace and founder, Katie Bancroft, founder sees a great link between workplace talent and finding new and exciting talent in other walks of life.

This year’s competition is held in the Village Square, Bramhall, starting at 11am through to 6.30pm.

You can enjoy singers, dancers and other talented acts performing on the Imagine FM stage, where there’s always a surprise unexpected contestant! It’s a great family day out with face painting, food stalls, children’s activities and a licensed bar.

There will also be live performances whilst the judges make their decision between 5pm – 6.30pm.

This year’s judges are
> Wendy Patterson – Actress -Bramhall born and bred, loves theatre, acting, cooking, and works in TV as casting associate.

Lisa Walker -Bramhall North Ward Councillor and Deputy Mayor of Stockport – Local girl and interests apart from politics are cooking, going to to the theatre and spending good quality time with family and friends.  She admits she’s a terrible singer, however, she’s has a good ear and can tell when somebody is off key!

>  Chris Corry – Organiser of Bramhall Record Fair, a Bramhall Together Trust committee member, active member of Fords Lane Church and loves old skool vinyls and is mad for it!

> Lisa Gibson – Triple Three Solutions – Life long Tina fan and loves to sing her anthem – The Best

> Alison Renshaw – Singer -She recorded “Strawberry Rainbows” song written in celebration of Strawberry recording Studios contribution to the music industry in Stockport.

> Kate Firth – Is the owner and choir director of Cheshire Community Choirs. She has a long history of competing nationally and internationally in ladies barbershop. Her quartet Eu4ia was placed 12th in the world in Las Vegas and she regularly coaches choruses, quartets as well as providing one-to-one singing lessons.

>  Mary Robinson – A Conservative Member of Parliament for Cheadle, elected in the 2015. Mary is very supportive when is comes to her local community, and enjoys being involved with local events.

> Wendy Green – Founder of I Love Bramhall and I Love Cheadle Hulme – Vice chair for the Bramhall Together Trust. Dog and music lover and passionate about bringing the community together

> Roger Prydderch – Owner of Prydderch Financial Planning and Chair of the Bramhall Together Trust, born in Bramhall, went to school in Bramhall, works in Bramhall…local lad through and through.

> Kate Bancroft – Founder of Wilmslow based Talent HR and Recruitment spends her days, and nights, spotting talent in business, careers and (now) entertainment. She devotes her time away from the business to her very own talented pup, Eddie, walking the length and breadth of Cheshire or dancing to pretty much anything!

>  Tracey Richley and Maria Grimsley– Sisters in Song -Real sisters Tracey and Maria, aka Sisters in Song. Raised in a show business family. They’re very proud to have performed on stage and screen and most recently were asked by XFactor producers to audition which took them through to Boot Camp in July 2015 and earlier this year they made it through to the televised celebrity auditions on Britain’s Got Talent.

The Bramhall Together Trust are a small group of volunteers who commit a great deal of time and effort into organising these events as well as other local showpieces such as Bramhall Festival and Light Up Bramhall at Christmas.
