Jo Hoddes, Emma Riley, Jenny Rodger and Emma Riley (yes, there really are two Emma Rileys!) are ambassadors for Prevent Breast Cancer and they have got together to organise Paint Bramhall & Cheadle Hulme Pink for the month of May!

They want the whole of our community to be awash in pink, this is an awareness and fundraising campaign that will bring the whole community together, providing much-needed funds for life-changing breast cancer research.

They are creating a calendar of events with businesses, shops, salons, restaurants, pubs, schools if you want to be involved please do contact Jo and let her know your plans.

Back in 2016 & 2017 I Love Cheadle Hulme asked the people of Cheadle Hulme to all come together for one cause. Over 40 businesses, numerous members of the public, community groups, schools, local radio stations and magazines came together and raised over £14,500 in 2016 and £11,200 in 2017 – lets beat this!
We had over 9 events in 7 days which included a pub quiz, an ABBA Tribute Night, a fashion show, a pub crawl with a special brewed ale called ‘The Booby Trap’, an Artisan Market and street parade.

ABOUT PREVENT BREAST CANCER

Prevent Breast Cancer is the only UK charity entirely dedicated to the prediction and prevention of breast cancer – we’re committed to freeing the world from the disease altogether. Unlike many cancer charities, we’re focused on preventing, rather than curing. Promoting early diagnosis, screening and lifestyle changes, we believe we can stop the problem before it starts. And being situated at the only breast cancer prevention centre in the UK, we’re right at the front-line in the fight against the disease.
