Faye, who plans to save her prize money until she’s old enough to buy a car, told us,

“I love singing and when I saw the advert for the competition, I decided to enter. There were so many great acts that I was really surprised to win the first prize. It was a great day and I met some lovely people and want to say thanks to all the people who organised it. I’m looking forward to enjoying my prizes and still can’t believe I won!”

This year’s event in Bramhall Village Square attracted 40 contestants including singers, bands, dancers, gymnasts and school choirs.

Sponsor Katie Bancroft of Talent HR and Recruitment was one the event judges and was impressed by the quality of talent on the stage.

“It was fantastic to see so many people sign up to perform on Saturday and there was some fabulous talent to entertain us throughout the day. Faye’s performance was amazing and we were all agreed that she was a worthy winner. We were delighted to have sponsored this year’s event.”

Bramhall’s Got Talent is one of three events organised each year by Bramhall Together Trust – local volunteers committed to bringing the community together in Bramhall. Chairman Roger Prydderch was delighted with this year’s support from sponsors, traders, entrants and the local community.

“We had a great turnout this year both on the stage and from the crowd who gave their support throughout the day. Events like this are impossible to stage without the support from our sponsors and our thanks go to those organisations who made this year’s event possible – main sponsor and donator of the first prize, Talent HR and Recruitment, and the sponsors of all this year’s prizes, Bramhall Together Trust; I Love Bramhall & I Love Cheadle Hulme; Bramhall Record Fair; Chilli Banana Street Food; The Mill Official, and Bramhall Flowers.
