The Friends of Lumb Lane Park Celebrate Thai New Year raising £820!

The friends of Lumb Lane Park (FoLLP) joined forces with Chilli Banana Bramhall (19.04.16) to celebrate Thai New Year in style whilst helping the group carry on their fundraising efforts to improve the play facilities of the local park.

The sell out evening saw over 40 local ladies enjoying the delicious menu personally selected by Nok and Steve for the evening and the paired wine was kindly sponsored by Matthew Clark Ltd.

Steven and Nok from Chilli Banana said:

“It was great to celebrate Thai New year with the Friends of Lumb Lane Park, a great evening with a fantastic group of local ladies who are working hard to improve the play facilities of our local park. Bramhall is a great village to be in and the strong community involvement really makes it a special place, we wish them all the luck.”

Local businesses came together donating prizes for the evening, including: Modiste, Amaranth, Simply Books, SOS, A Sweet Thought, Total Fitness, Digital Save, Through the Looking Glass, Sandwich Heaven, Loved, Ryan Jake, Terrance Paul, MKM Cleaning and I Love Bramhall

The FoLLP is a group of local residents working together to improve the play facilities of their park; they hope to raise funds to provide a better suited play area for children, creating a safe space where families can meet up, play, relax, exercise and develop relationships, to build a stronger community and to make Bramhall an even better place to live.
