The dentist is often a place we neglect to go to. We went along to Arundel Dental Practice to find out more about their business and the people behind it all… That counts as a check-up doesn’t it!?

Nestled between the Village Surgery and the Coppice apartments on Bramhall Lane South sits Arundel Dental Practice. The practice spans the ground floor of a stunning Victorian property and is ideally located with on-site parking and a stone’s throw from Bramhall Station.

Michael Clark was the dentist we met. He’s joint partner at the practice with Chris Needham. Michael moved to the North West in 2014. This is when he got a job at Arundel itself, where it was owned by a gentleman called Clive – some of you may remember him.

Chris – Michael’s now business partner – was already working there. A year went by and Clive decided to hang up his drill, in doing so giving Michael the opportunity to take the reigns and form a new partnership with Chris.

Michael lives in Bramhall and enjoys working on his doorstep. He loves the Bramhall community and enjoys runs in Bramhall Park in his free time… which is understandable! Favourite places to eat include the wonderful Turquoise, Piccolino and Mercato, where he dines regularly with his gorgeous fiancée.

Arundel focuses on high levels of service in their practice as well as taking good care of their patients. The practice has recently undergone a programme of improvements which has seen Chris and Mike invest in the latest technology to ensure each patient is treated to the highest quality treatment in the safest of settings. Each patient receives a warm welcome on arrival and is looked after throughout their visit. This often leads to the relationship between themselves and the practice being a lifelong one, where they will also bring their kids once they have a family of their own. As it has been around since the 80s, Arundel has a lot of cases like this as you can imagine!

Arundel also offer a range of cosmetic treatments to keep Bramhall smiling. This is one of the many strings to the Arundel bow, giving itself a reputation as a well-rounded service with the solidity of the basics of dentistry.

Arundel Dental Practice Michael has a particularly special interest in root canal treatments (endodontics). This is all about saving teeth and curing tooth ache, which can often be more than just a distraction to every-day life! The past three years of Michael’s life have been dedicated to gaining a post-graduate degree in endodontics at UCLAN, so he must enjoy it as well as being so good at it! This involved going up to Lancashire to work on patients under the supervision of specialists, gaining vital experience along the way to add to the bucket-load of knowledge he already had.
