I Love Bramhall 4th Birthday Party
21 Nov 2017How time flies! ILoveBramhall.com recently celebrated our fourth birthday with a brilliant bash at Piccolino in the heart of Bramhall.
It’s been a jam-packed four years since we started out; in that time, I Love Bramhall has become a local institution. Born as an idea to bring the people of Bramhall together, the brand has grown to encompass all elements of the community, from special events to business networking.
We decided to hold our birthday party in honour of all the businesses and individuals who have invested in I Love Bramhall this year, a thank you to them. If you put in an appearance, we’re sure you’ll agree that it was a fantastic and very well attended event!
Pre-party planning and preparation
Piccolino was the perfect place for our party, known and loved by locals for its wonderful ambience and mouthwatering menu. We were so impressed with the unique space and efficient service – there was nowhere better for our evening celebration.
Local cafe Plumcake made our very own themed cupcakes in a variety of flavours and I can vouch for each being equally delicious as the next! I have Eds Hair to thank for ensuring my hair was party perfect on the night, while newcomer to the village Guinot put their makeup skills into practice and completed my transformation – I looked red carpet ready!
To keep everyone entertained during the event we enlisted the musical prowess of singer Ian Lawton, a live musician known to delight audiences with his varied repertoire.
We also had a showstopper of our very own up our sleeves – the I Love Bramhall 4th Birthday Film! Click here to watch on YouTube
Chelsea Shoesmith worked her magic with the camera as she always does and captured some brilliant moments of the night so that the memories can last for a very long time!
Party time!
The party got underway at 7.30pm and we were delighted to welcome so many of our local businesses and VIPs to the event. I received some lovely gifts too – thank you for all the flowers and goodies, on top of the support you have shown I Love Bramhall in the last four years.
Piccolino’s efficient servers handed out tasty canapes and ensured everyone’s glasses were topped up for the duration of the party, while Ian kept energy levels high with a cracking compilation of songs – the dancefloor was packed!
Mayor of Stockport Linda Holt made a very generous speech indeed in support of I Love Bramhall and our community endeavours – we are so grateful for the support of our local councillors, too, with whom we work closely to ensure Bramhall is a thriving, successful community.
Then came the big moment – the premiere of I Love Bramhall’s 4th Birthday Film, which – as many local businesses will know – captures just what makes Bramhall so special, tracking our journey from to 2013 to 2017 and just how much we’ve grown in that time.
The after-party…
Bramhall certainly knows how to party: after winding up a fantastic night at Piccolino, some of the more hardcore party animals decided the night was still young, and that the celebrations should surely continue long into the night.
Construction Q very kindly let us hold an after-party at their offices, where the fun continued into the early hours. It was wonderful to conclude our fourth birthday party surrounded by so many friends from the community.
It’s been a fantastic four years and we are so proud to promote all that Bramhall has to offer. Thank you to all the businesses and organisations who have helped transform Bramhall in the last four years – our close-knit community is made so much stronger with your support. I Love Bramhall is riding high into our fifth year, and we’re optimistic that it’s going to be our biggest and best yet!
