I Love Caro Boutique

Celebrating six months in Bramhall this September, Caro Boutique is one of the newest businesses on the block. With her well-trained eye for detail, owner Caroline Fry is giving Bramhall a boost in the style stakes and helping residents look and feel their best – I Love Bramhall caught up with Caroline to find out more.

A peaceful escape from the bustle of Bramhall high street, Caro Boutique is appealing in every sense. Neutrally yet distinctively decorated with the addition of luxurious textiles, Caro welcomes women through its doors with the enticing natural aromas of Beaumont Organics’ room fragrances.

Colour and image consultant Caroline greets visitors with a smile, letting them look through the rails at their leisure. The clothing on display is all handpicked by Caroline from a carefully curated selection of English and European brands, including British labels Traffic People, Blake 52 and Sundae Tee, French brand Calie Paris, Danish designers MSCH and Nu Denmark and European bestselling jeans brand Salsa.

Sizes stocked range from 8 to 18, so there’s something to flatter all figures – and all ages, too. Caroline prides herself on helping customers find something that suits them in terms of style, cut and colour.

Originally from Australia but now living locally in Bramhall with her family, Caroline balanced motherhood with part-time work until recently. She discovered a flair for fashion in her 40s, when she became a style and imaging consultant, and started working from home. Now that her children are older, Caroline has taken the plunge and launched her namesake boutique, Caro.

Open every day except Sundays, Caro stocks exclusive styles unlikely to be found elsewhere locally. There are only ever a few sizes available in a single style, so customers can be fairly certain they won’t see anyone else in the same outfit – apart from the odd celebrity, perhaps. Lisa Snowdon and Andrea McLean have both been snapped wearing items currently available in Caro Boutique.

Caroline’s own wardrobe reflects the choice on offer in Caro – she doesn’t stock anything she wouldn’t wear herself, and every piece is chosen with love. She’s also committed to sustainability, selling a range of clothing and home fragrances from Manchester-based sustainable brand Beaumont Organics – look out for an exciting collaborative organics event later this year!

Alongside clothing and home scents, Caro also stocks a beautiful range of jewellery from luxury jewellery designer ICandi Rocks. In fact, Caro Boutique was the first UK stockist of the delicate jewellery, characterised by semi-precious stones, crystals and freshwater pearls. The range of bracelets, necklaces and earrings add the perfect finishing touch to an outfit, as well as making ideal gifts for someone special.

Whether you’re visiting the village to pick up something new to wear, meeting friends for lunch or just doing a bit of window shopping, Caroline welcomes everyone to pop in for a friendly chat, some style advice or even a coffee. On selected days, Caro invites guests in for a cuppa, completely free of charge. Caroline is also planning something similar but with bubbles – guests visiting after 2pm on ‘Fizzy Fridays’ can enjoy a complimentary glass of prosecco while they browse – count us in!
