I LOVE Cheshire Home Fragrance

28 Nov 2017

Here at I Love Bramhall, we love nothing more than trying out the latest fragrance scent-sations. With sales of scented candles, diffusers and wax melts ever increasing, we met with our very own local fragrance expert Caroline Tiplady, owner of Cheshire Home Fragrance, to find out more about her popular business.

About Cheshire Home Fragrance

Stepping through the door to Cheshire Home Fragrance’s HQ on Bramhall Moor Lane’s National Trading Estate is a real treat for the nose; we followed the intense aromas up the steps and into the company’s nerve centre, where all kinds of perfumed products are lovingly made by hand.

Featured beautifully on dressers to the right are the company’s elegantly packaged scented candles, wax melts and gift sets, which are not only aesthetically pleasing but also gorgeously fragranced. On the left, dozens of packages lie ready and waiting to be filled and shipped off to lucky recipients later today.

Since its inception just a couple of years ago and subsequent evolution into a home scents specialist earlier this year, Cheshire Home Fragrance has proved to be a big hit. Director and entrepreneur Caroline started the family business with a single goal in mind: to produce quality home scents without compromise.

Cheshire Home Fragrance Products

Originally selling well-known branded candles and related goods, Caroline saw a gap in the market for premium home fragrance products without the hefty pricetags. After a year of planning, experimenting and honing her skills, Caroline launched the company’s new website earlier in 2017, showcasing her own Cheshire Home Fragrance brand and its numerous offerings.

Among the products on offer are personalised scented candles ideal for gifting, stylish diffuser sets and oil burners. There’s also a vast array of diminutive but intensely aromatic wax melts available at £1 a pop, so there’s something to suit all budgets and all occasions – from stocking fillers to a thoughtful gift for the friend who has everything.

Caroline sources premium fragrance oils and make their candles and melts by hand on site, which ensures maximum quality. All too often companies in the home fragrance market only scent the top layer of their candles, or use low-concentration fragrances in their products, which is cost-effective for the business but not for the customer, Caroline commented.

Cheshire Home Fragrance Values

Cheshire Home Fragrance is committed to fragrancing each and every product to the maximum permitted levels, ensuring that clients receive optimum value for money. The candles on sale can burn for up to 40 hours without losing their fragrance while the room fragrance melts too are extremely long lasting.  Caroline also has a range of wax melts that not only can be used as room fragrances but also double up as an organic massage melt so can be used on the skin.

Cheshire Home Fragrance

For Caroline, adding value and giving back are key aspect of the Cheshire Home Fragrance brand. In the wake of the Manchester Arena bombing, the company sold special edition scented candles featuring the Manchester bee emblem and donated £2 from every sale to fundraising endeavours. In total, the company raised around £650 for the victims of the bombing. Caroline has also been pictured selling her products in Cheshire Life magazine at a charity event for Stockport charity Beechwood Cancer Care.

On the back of the business’s recent success, Cheshire Home Fragrance has been approached to explore exciting new opportunities in business-to-business and wholesale markets. The scented candles and wax melts are proving increasingly popular as corporate gifts among companies who want to reward their staff or suppliers with something truly unique, while the wholesale potential for the premium products is enormous.

Cheshire Home Fragrance

It’s an old industry adage that making the perfect candle is impossible, but here at I Love Bramhall, we’re pretty sure that Cheshire Home Fragrance has perfected the art.

Cheshire Home Fragrance will be selling festively fragranced products along with their regular lines at Woodford’s Christmas markets at Notcutts Garden Centre on December 9th and 10th and at Light Up Bramhall on December 3rd.
