I LOVE Famous Henrys Bramhall

19 Jul 2021

Calling all gents of Bramhall and beyond: a brand new barbers has opened up in the village, and we’re sure it’s going to turn heads. Join us in warmly welcoming the fifth branch of renowned local barbers Famous Henrys to Bramhall!

Now in their eighth year of trading, Famous Henrys has built up an excellent reputation locally – not only for quality cuts and consistently high standards, but for offering an experience unlike that of any other barbers in the area.

After all, where else can you enjoy a cold beer, use the WiFi, play a game of Xbox or enjoy a complimentary cuppa while waiting to be groomed to perfection? Catering for all ages with both up-to-the-minute styles and more traditional cuts, Famous Henrys also offers wet shaves, waxing and threading, too – you’re sure to be a cut above when you leave the salon.

The Bramhall branch joins the two Famous Henry salons in Cheadle Hulme, the Hazel Grove barbershop and a fourth salon in Wilmslow. Despite the recent pandemic, which forced all branches to close for 34 weeks, Famous Henrys has weathered the storm thanks to their growing base of loyal customers.

Famous Henrys’ owners put their clients at the heart of everything they do. It’s only thanks to their fantastic following that they’ve had the opportunity to expand, they say. Having previously run a successful café bar and restaurant in the village, it’s a place the owners know and love – they add that they can’t wait to join all the other fantastic, supportive businesses here in Bramhall.

When you step inside a Famous Henrys salon, all that matters is you. Every salon is designed with customers in mind, and staff pride themselves on making the experience enjoyable for everyone.

Along with free WiFi, Xboxes, daily newspapers, complimentary hot drinks and bottles of Peroni, you can expect skilful cuts from barbers who are passionate about what they do, in a smart, friendly environment where you’ll be well looked after.

Situated next to Barclays Bank, Famous Henrys occupies a particularly interesting spot in the village. Right outside the barbershop is a piece of local history – the mounting stone.

No, not the local pub (although the micro brewery is named after the landmark), but an actual stone that commemorates the last Bramhall smithy and reminds passersby that for centuries, the site has been devoted to the needs of the travellers.

Largely hidden for years, the stone has gone unnoticed by many residents and visitors, but Famous Henrys have transformed the area so that the heritage feature can now be admired by all. They’ve also installed some benches so that locals can enjoy the appealing new space, and staff intend to surprise those who take a seat with a welcoming cup of complimentary coffee every so often as part of their random acts of kindness.

If it’s time for a trim, pop in anytime – conveniently, Famous Henrys Bramhall is open seven days a week and welcomes walk-ins as well as pre-booked appointments. They’re all about offering a service that’s flexible to the needs of different customers.

And, as a thank you for putting your hair in their hands, Famous Henrys Bramhall will be discounting all cuts to just £10 until July 31st – what a snip!
