I LOVE Nok’s Thai Street Food

9 Aug 2021

Have you noticed that our favourite Thai eatery has had a bit of a refresh? We’d like to extend a warm welcome the now fully independent Nok’s Thai Street Food, serving up the same smiles and delicious dishes as before, with a few exciting new tweaks!

Formerly Chilli Banana, Nok’s Thai Street Food became independent from the franchise back in April. Owners Nok and Steve Blaney took the plunge, branching out from the big brand name that launched them in the village six years ago – and we’re delighted they did.

Now ready to embark on the next chapter of their culinary adventure in the village with the creative freedom that comes with operating independently, Nok and Steve have introduced some subtle changes over the past few months.

As well as restyling the interior from the former Chilli Banana brand colours to deep reds and golds, the menu has had a bit of a shakeup, too, now offering 30 signature dishes with some seasonal variations and a fantastic new specials menu.

Every meal tastes creative and delicious; by becoming independent, Nok and her team of chefs now have unbridled freedom to create mouth-watering flavour fusions that command even press attention, with The Manc’s Takeaway Champions recently describing Nok’s drunken noodles as the best they’d ever had!

The specials change every few months, so there’s always something new to tempt your tastebuds – including traditional northern curries from Nok’s hometown in the mountains – but of course, you’ll also find favourites like Pad Thai, green curry, satay chicken skewers and Pad Gra Pow beef.

Nok’s Street Food is enduringly popular with families, and the team have introduced a new offer that means children eat for half price – just in time for the school holidays! There are plenty of sweet treats for little ones and big kids alike, too: if you’ve heard of the delicious Mochi ice cream balls Little Moons, stop by Nok’s for the real deal, along with some sumptuous traditional cakes.

The restaurant can create beautiful bakes for special occasions but, if you’d like to add some real Thai flavour to an upcoming event, why not hire the Nok’s Thai Street Food truck and have all of the catering covered for a party, wedding or other special event?

If you paid a visit to the Bramhall Festival you’ll have seen the truck in action – it’s just the right size to fit on a driveway and inside, Nok rustles up the most popular items on the menu. Prices are per head and very reasonable – get in touch to find out more about hiring the truck to cater for your special event.

In the meantime, pop by Nok’s Thai Street Food with the family, bring your other half or even book for a group of friends – you can take your own booze along and enjoy authentic Thai dishes and hospitality right here in Bramhall.
