To bolster this glowing status while strengthening the business and looking at future innovation, Stopfordian has recently appointed two new team members: company director Peter Consterdine and account manager Melissa McQuade. Peter, whose career in the corporate security industry spans more than 30 years, also operates a risk security consultancy and has published a number of books on related security themes, including Travelsafe and Streetwise.

Peter has worked with national and international businesses on issues of security and risk, also coordinating personal security operations to provide protection for prominent public figures – such as the chairman of the New York Stock Exchange.

Melissa, meanwhile, recently joined the team after working as an RSPCA Deputy Chief Inspector for 13 years in the Greater Manchester area; beforehand, she was a Prison Officer at Strangeways. Having had extensive experience in both roles, Melissa intimately understands the vital nature of safety and security. She was taken on by Stopfordian in January as an Account Manager, forming a bridge between the clients and the service they receive to ensure a seamless delivery.
