Joanne Hill – Amaranth

6 Nov 2013

“I think what is unique about trading in Bramhall is the camaraderie that has evolved between local businesses. We are all aware that our success depends on how well known we are and we support each other in achieving our goals.”

Joanne Hill, who is a BANT Registered Nutritional Therapist, took over ownership of Amaranth last year after working as Clinic Manager and is passionate about the role that complementary healthcare plays in supporting and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, no matter what your age.

Award Winning Service

Over the years Amaranth Health & Wellbeing has developed an industry acclaimed service, providing quality advice and products. In 2013 they were awarded finalist for Retailer of the Year at the Natural and Organic Awards. In 2010 they were also awarded Clinic of the year for a truly outstanding contribution to the Complementary and Natural Therapy Industry.

“At Amaranth we only stock natural or organic products; supplying just the real thing with specialised support to our customers, so to receive a national award for our service was incredible, one that we are particularly proud of as it displays our commitment to providing simply the best.”

Jo, who manages a team of highly qualified complementary health therapists, who specialise in Female Health, Digestive Health, Weight Management, Sports Nutrition, Food Intolerance Testing as well as many other areas. She also practices what she preaches, in her spare time having recently trained and run a marathon.

Bramhall Business Buddies

Living in Bramhall with her husband and two children, Jo believes she has the best of both worlds, a great place to bring up her family, and a central location for her business. She concludes: “I think what is unique about Bramhall is the camaraderie that has evolved between traders. Last year seven Independent Retailers formed Indie Bramhall starting with the first activity last Easter which involved an Easter Egg trail around the shops with the aim of encouraging passers-by and residents to feel drawn into our shops.”
