Light Up Bramhall – this weekend!

Light Up Bramhall 2015 is this weekend of Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th November, join the Bramhall Together Trust and celebrate all things Christmas.

There is lots going on in the village

  • Christmas market stalls in the Village Square
  • Bar organised by the Bramhall Together Trust.
  • Santa’s Grotto looked after by Fords Lane Church -Free children’s activities retelling the story of Christmas, free Christmas books, and free Christmas gift wrapping for items bought over the weekend. Santa’s grotto: £3, includes a gift.
  • Nativity Trail organised by The Methodist Church.
  • Entertainment on the Imagine FM stage featuring Britain’s Got Talent singer-songwriter Danny Dearden, plus the opportunity to see this year’s winner from Bramhall’s Got Talent – Kimmy Beatbox and Mr Zip is back!
  • Lantern Parade – involving local schools, community groups & individuals- join the paraders in the car park behind the Victorian at 4.30pm . Children will lead the parade followed by Santa’s sleigh. They will finish on the stage outside the Methodist
  • Christmas Light Switch On – 5pm outside the Methodist Church with the Mayor and Mayoress of Stockport
  • Carol Singing – after the switch on there will be carol singing with the Vernon Brass Band on the Imagine Stage download the Light Up Bramhall 2015 carol sheet
  • Santa’s Sleigh Float organised by Bramhall & Woodford Rotary
  • Carol Service – Sunday 3pm

**Please note there will be road closures between 2.30-6pm on Saturday between Bramley Road to the roundabout but both Bramley road and the roundabout will be passable**

4.50 – Lantern parade starts and arrives at Church
4.55  – Stage dignitaries arrive – switch on
5.00 – Carol Singing with Vernon brass band on church stage with lantern paraders

Sunday Entertainment schedule is as follows

2pm – Bramhall Community Choir
3pm – Bramhall High School Band
