Whatever your age, whatever your song…I Love Bramhall’s Open Mic competition is for everyone who feels they have what it takes to wow the crowd!
As well as the unique opportunity to perform on one of Headlander’s main stages, the winner walks away with prizes to the value of £1,000 including studio recording time, £100 music vouchers, an HD music video of their performance together with an Apple Ipad.
Don’t let this chance presented to you by ILove Bramhall.com slip you by! Taking place on Sunday 22nd June from 12.30-4pm, the music competition is open to all ages and genres; and acts can perform either covers or their own original songs.
This music competition offers competitors the opportunity to perform live in front of industry judges and large audiences, generating valuable media attention and exposure! With an anticipated 6,000 people from across the North milling through the festival grounds, I Love Bramhall’s Open Mic competition provides the spring board into the music industry for the winning entrant!
You can find out more at the Open Mic launch on May 18th in Bramhall Park, where Blank Cheque who won last year’s open mic competition will be launching this year’s Open Mic competition at I Love Bramhall and Headlander’s stand, and around to answer any questions this year’s hopefuls have.
After scooping last year’s Open Mic prize, twin brothers Tom and Josh Phillips of Blank Cheque, found their music career rocketed off to a flying start. Now one year on, they are headlining Headlander’s acoustic stage!
Tom and Josh said: “Winning last year’s Open Mic competition was our golden key into the music industry! We never could have afforded the studio time to record our songs without the competition. Now we are performing all over the area, in an amazing range of venues. We opened the Teenage Market last Sunday with our act – and are in constant demand. So we say take the plunge….enter yourself in for I Love Bramhall’s Open Mic competition – you won’t look back!”
