Sandwich Heaven – Chelsea Norris Review

I was introduced to Sandwich Heaven in Bramhall Cheshire, by my boyfriend Ben, about 12 weeks ago.  I recall him saying to me, I’ll take you to this nice little café in Bramhall and had no idea where he meant. When I saw it on Fir Road I fell in love, it’s so petite and cute.

He’d been going for years, to the point he had his own little seat.  I spent ages looking at the menu written on the big blackboard on the side wall – do I go for a Panini, homemade chilli, or a breakfast – all really well priced.  I opted for the chilli which was just amazing.
The girls who work in there are professional and hard-working and really friendly. I have had worse service in 5* restaurants.
The food is homemade and fresh – and all the meat and sausages sourced from the butchers next door – you can’t get much closer than that. I’d actually challenge anyone to find me a tastier sausage than their Cumberland one. The queue is out the door most lunchtimes as people come for miles to sample their roast lunch sandwiches and homemade soups and a trip on a Sunday morning with a pot of tea, their new Sunday Menu and a flick though the paper is the perfect way to start your day.
Ian, the owner also delivers breakfast baskets to local businesses and bakes the best millionaire shortbread. He’s also opened another Sandwich Heaven in Hazel Grove which I’m sure will be of equal success.  I’m hesitant to recommend it to anymore, as I don’t want to lose my seat – but if you need a takeaway get yourself there, ha!
