9 Apr 2014

Sainsbury’s opens it’s new store in The Village Square next week Wednesday 16th April, creating twenty-two new jobs for local residents.

Sainsbury’s Local will be 2600 sq ft big and will be opened by 1St Bramhall Scout Group. The store is looking to build strong links in the community and will be supporting the easter egg hunt planned over the easter weekend.

Among the new recruits is Philip Boyce. He has been taken on as a team leader and said: “I can really see myself progressing within the company, and have found them very encouraging. I’m looking forward to starting in the new store and providing great service to the people of Bramhall.”

The store, situated in Bramhall Village Square, will stock a range of high quality fresh and frozen produce, plus chilled beers wine and spirits and will have a lottery terminal. The store will also provide three self-scan checkouts for the customer who’s on the go.

Store Manager Richard Shaw added, “I am really looking forward to the opening of the new store in Bramhall, and building links with the local community and other retailers.”
