Scarecrow Festival 2016 – The Winners

Bramhall and Woodford Rotary put on a splendid Scarecrow Festival on Saturday 17 Sept, raising around £1000 for Purple4Polio campaign, a new initiative to raise money to eradicate polio throughout the world.

There were four categories for entrants and judging took place at three venues around the village.

MP Mary Robinson along with Kirsty, a representative from the main sponsor Redrow Homes judged the scarecrows.

Around £1,000 was raised for Purple for Polio and the day was great success and brought the Bramhall community together with lots of entertainment around the village.
