Scarecrows have come to Bramhall…the photos

The Scarecrows are back in Bramhall! Check out the photos here…

Bramhall and Woodford Rotary Scarecrow Spectacular is running until 17th September. The event is being sponsored by Redrow who are currently developing the Woodford Garden Village.

There are four categories and judging will take place on Saturday 17th September at three venues around the village, Mary Robinson MP is the main judge along with a representative from Redrow, and Bob Preece who is current President of the Rotary Club.

There is entertainment throughout 17 September 12noon – 4pm including:

  • A Ceilidh
  • Walthew House Steel Band
  • The Wellington Street
  • The Norden Flute Quartet
  • Bramhall School of Dance
  • Zumba Bramhall
  • Adlington Morris Dancers
  • Face Painting by Create and Play
  • Hack Back Owls
  • Mounting Stone will have a pop up bar 12 – 2pm in the Village Square
  • Scarecrow Trail around the Village
  • Table magicians

Bramhall and Woodford Rotary will also be selling their latest publication, Billy Bow’s Holiday for £5. The books are currently available at Ella’s, The Happy Potter, Little Big Heads, Simply Books, Crookilley Crafts, & Amaranth.

All profits will go to our Purple4Polio campaign, a new initiative to continue to raise money to eradicate polio throughout the world.

Also Stockport MBC have waived parking charges in their car parks in Bramhall on Sat 17 Sept
