Thank you Bramhall High School

28 Jun 2015

Wendy, from ilovebramhall.com would like to personally thank  the students of Bramhall High School for their outstanding contribution to the Big Free Tea Party, held on 12 June in the beautiful grounds of St Michael’s Church, for senior citizens in the area.

The Year 10 students arrived enthusiastically at the church, ready to transform the Church Hall and garden into the perfect setting for a special vintage tea party. Tables were carefully set, making sure that each and every one of them looked special with gingham tablecloths and fresh flowers, not to mention an abundance of cakes, scones, strawberries and cream.

Once the guests started arriving, the helpful volunteers showed them to their seats, whilst the other student volunteers offered Pimms and Lemonade.

The local guests were entertained throughout the afternoon by the talented Bramhall High School band. They enjoyed ‘Soul  Band’ music, from good old classics to current chart topping hits. A few guests even got up to dance!

After the guests left, the students helped clear up the whole party, leaving the church grounds looking as immaculate as when we arrived.

Wendy Green added: “Although a huge amount of people were involved in this event, the students from Bramhall High School were such a great help. Their enthusiasm and hard work really paid off making the tea party a true success and they are a credit to the school. We could have not done it without them! We’re looking forward to next year already.”
