The BIG Bramhall Tea Party is coming soon..

27 Jun 2017

Time is drawing near for the 4th annual Big Bramhall Tea Party 2017 on the 7th of July  for the senior citizens of Bramhall.

When Wendy Green, founder of came up with the idea four years ago to celebrate the contribution of Bramhall’s older residents by inviting senior citizens to the Big Bramhall Tea Party she had no idea how popular and successful the event would be and how it would add value to the people of the village.

This is not a fund raiser but purely a community celebration of our senior citizens and what an event it is!

Amaranth and Notcutts – Woodford Garden Centre were the ticket collection point for the 4th annual 2017 Big Bramhall Tea Party, which is now completely fully booked, with over 300 guests in attendance.  Arriving at 2pm this event runs until 5pm at St Michaels & All Angles Church Hall. Although this event is free a ticket is necessary due to the fact they wouldn’t want to run out of tea and cakes and Pimm’s Punch!

Don’t let transportation be issue as Enterprise Bus and Chrome Motors are offering free transportation to and from your home to the event!

What can the Mayor and other guests expect?  A scrumptious selection of yummy treats of delicious freshly baked scones, cakes and savouries generously provided by local business.  The tables will be beautifully decorated with flower centres by Fran Smith and flowers from Bramhall Flowers shop arranged by the pupils at Pownall Green School and the pupils at Bramhall High School will be on hand for extra support. Local scouts groups 1st Bramhall & 4th Bramhall and Benja Fold Guides have loaned chairs & tables, as well as Fords Lane Church. A number of local residents have stepped forward to help too.
