The Bramhall Giant Duck Gallery 2016

Bramhall’s very own Giant Duck Gallery, over 100 giant ducks in total entered the 2016 Duck Race, here’s a selection from Bramhall businesses and community groups.

Bramhall And Woodford Rotary Club‘s Bramhall Duck Race was held at Bramhall Park on Sunday May 15th sponsored by Angela Beer, Barclays Bank plc, Reeds Rains Estate Agents and Cadassist.

Bramhall businesses and community groups decorated their Giant Ducks ready for the duck race

The winners were as follows:

• Scout Challenge | Fledgings Day Nursery
• Race 1 -Racey McRaceface sponsored by Reeds Rains -winner Sorella
• Race 2 –  Angela Beer Fashion Stakes sponsored by Angela Beer – winner Chrome Motors
• Race 3 -Himor Quacky Races sponsored by Village Square – winner Hartington Hounds
• Race 4 -The Prydduck Paddle sponsored by Prydderch Financial Services – Modiste
• Race 5 -NFU Swim for your life sponsored by NFU –Ryan Jake Hair
• Race 6 -The Snapes Sprint sponsored by Andrew Snapes – Bramhall Bakery

The Best Dressed Duck judged by MP Mary Robinson was won by Bramhall Methodist Church Rainbows

Around £15,000 was raised and will be shared between the Francis House Children’s Hospice which is based in Didsbury, and other charities supported by the Rotary Club.
