The Mounting Stone – Reasons to be Cheerful

20 Jan 2017

Andrew O’Shea – Director of The Mounting Stone, says thank you Bramhall!

We managed to catch up with Andrew, from the very popular ‘Mounting Stone‘, who wants to say a big thank you to the Bramhall community. Since opening in the heart of Bramhall village, Andrew and his team have been very fast to be welcomed by the community of Bramhall, and has since strived massively, offering a unique atmosphere and range of different beverages.

Since the inception of the project, during the planning application and thereafter, everyone involved have benefited greatly from the overwhelming support of the local community.

I am proud to say that we have received recognition of our efforts by being awarded Stockport and South Manchester CAMRA pub of the month award for February.

The award will be presented at 8pm on 23rd of February, pop it in your diary, they would love to see you down at The Mounting Stone – all support is greatly appreciated!

The micro pub are also humbled to have been shortlisted for MEN citylife pub of the year. Voting for that closes on the 25th January and results will be announced on 30th Jan. If you haven’t done so already, could you please spare a moment to cast your vote here, in support of Bramhall’s little pub.

Sister pub – The Chiverton Tap, based on Mellor Road in Cheadle Hulme, has been awarded Stockport and South Manchester CAMRA pub of the year, so a very well done to them too.

Like any other business, ‘The Mounting Stone‘ are always looking at ways in which they can improve what they do and listen to what their customers say, and so in the coming months are going to be working hard to make the pub more enjoyable by making a few changes. Keep your eyes peeled. In the meantime, they will continue to do what they do best and look forward to a prosperous 2017.
