Have YOUR Say on YOUR Local Council Ward Boundaries
9 Jan 2022Did you know your local council boundaries could be changing? Do you know how this will affect you? It’s your last chance to have your say on the matter!
Let the Local Government Boundary Commission know what YOU, the residents and local organisations, think about their proposals to change the Council Wards in Bramhall. These proposed changes are significant and will affect both Bramhall South and Woodford Ward and Bramhall North Ward for local elections and ALL local council matters.
Your local Councillors John McGahan, Mike Hurleston and Brian Bagnall believe that these boundary changes are absolutely the wrong decision for Bramhall South and Woodford – it will split the village and potentially the community in two. Your councillors are available to discuss this and you can contact them before the closure date – which is on Monday the 10th January. Your councillors will provide you with more details, information and advice.

“The Local Government Boundary Commission invites residents and local organisations the let them know what they think about their proposals to change the Council Wards in Bramhall. This affects the ward you are in for local elections and local council matters.”
They are proposing to make very significant changes to Bramhall South and Woodford which our councillors believe will be detrimental to the Villages and our Community.
Residents in Little Australia, Ack Lane East/West, Thornway, Elmsway, Glandon Drive and surrounding roads will be particularly affected, although the proposals affect many other roads too.
