I LOVED the I Love Alderley Edge Launch Party
10 Nov 2021Just last week, on Wednesday, 3 November, Alderley’s gateway to the village, Piccolino, kindly played host-with-the-most to the fantabulous official launch event for I Love Alderley Edge, the latest ‘I Love’ venture from I Love Communities. Most of the I Love Cheadle Hulme and I Love Bramhall team and even clients joined founder Wendy Green and Brand Ambassador Helen Alcroft to mark the occasion in style!
I Love Alderley Edge may indeed be the latest addition to the burgeoning I Love Communities brand, but already, Helen is no longer the newest member of the team – that honour goes to new recruit Hassan, who joins us to train in all things tech and social. What a perfect first day at work – we don’t party ALL the time, but when you love what you do, work sure feels like party central. Helen, however, welcomed all our guests – many of whom, as a long time Alderley resident, she already knows well.
First and foremost, huge thanks must go to Piccolino for looking after us so well and making our event another one to remember. Piccolino Bramhall is already an I Love favourite so it’s wonderful to have another! Nothing was too much trouble – which is very much the same whether it is party time or a quiet dinner for two, which is why we LOVE Piccolino. The bubbles were plentiful and the canapés delicious, while the Christmas décor added a further delightful festive touch to an already fabulous evening.
Equally gushing gratitude must go to the marvellous, the magical David Deanie, who we’re pretty sure could give local lad Merlin a run for his money. David is more than mere magician. He also possesses the gift of the gab and thus entertained all evening. Equally enchanting but in a rather different way, John McKinnie belted out a range of easy listening – and easy to sing along to – Indie tracks from Oasis to Snow Patrol, and we’ll be more than happy to have him back again and again. Talented photographer Craige Barker snapped away all evening and captured all the fun, frolics, and fizz on film for posterity.
We marked our first official day – well, evening – at work in Alderley Edge by extending the I Love invitation to everyone. We welcomed businesses, councillors, schools, clubs, residents, and anyone else who loves Alderley Edge. And they didn’t disappoint. We packed out our party area! The room was soon full of happy chatter as everyone got to know who was in the room, meet new people and reconnect with old friends. Another thank you then, to EVERYONE who came and joined us to toast our new venture, get to know the I Love team a little better, and discover what I Love Alderley Edge can do for the village you love. We can’t wait to get to know even more of you, and to work closely with many of you. So, get in touch, stay in touch, get involved. I Love Alderley Edge is all about YOUR village – and we should all LOVE where we live.
