ILoveCheadleHulme.com is now live
5 Feb 20163, 2, 1… We have lift off and ILoveCheadleHulme.com is now live!
It’s been a couple of years in the pipeline, and a few months of sheer hard work, research and preparation, but ILoveCheadleHulme.com has now officially launched, bringing the same feel-good factor, local pride and community spirit to Cheadle Hulme that I Love Bramhall has brought to Bramhall. I Love Cheadle Hulme is all about promoting local shops and businesses, as well as clubs, venues, groups and events, and providing a vibrant and current go-to source of information for anyone and everyone who lives, works or plays in Cheadle Hulme and keeping Cheadle Hulme firmly on the map as a fabulous place to live, work, shop or play.
Virtually everyone who has a shop, business, club or community group in Cheadle Hulme, however large or small – and that was hundreds of emails to send – was invited to our spectacular launch party at Rainbow88, in the shopping centre, and we’re happy to report we absolutely packed the place out! Everyone was treated to a complimentary glass of fizz and some of Linda’s delicious Rainbow88 snacks and nibbles, as well as being entertained by the King of Swing, Alan Burton.
The Mayor & Mayoress of Stockport joined sole traders and network marketeers to local branches of national banks and estate agents, via some of Cheadle Hulme’s oldest and best known businesses as well as some major new players, everyone had a wonderful evening surrounded by the distinctive and statement I Love Cheadle Hulme balloons and logos. Looking across the restaurant it was difficult not to feel a sense of pride at bringing all these people together and a real sense of excitement at what more is to come!
I Love Cheadle Hulme was designed by local creative agency Dzinr and brought to you by Wendy Green, the founder of I Love Bramhall, and Kate Godfrey who is Cheadle Hulme personified:
- Wendy’s I Love Bramhall community is everything Cheadle Hulme has been waiting for – a dynamic and proud portal for the area – and she also runs Girl Friday, a virtual assistant service and the well-known Moxie business networking group. She’s an old Hulme Hall School girl, still living close to where she grew up, and proud to be involved with Bramhall Together Trust, Bramhall Festival, Light Up Bramhall and Bramhall’s Got Talent as well as organising The Bramhall Tea Party – a completely free event for 250 senior citizens.
- Kate lives and breathes Cheadle Hulme, having grown up here and never wanted to leave. She knows and loves her area, being passionate about keeping Cheadle Hulme special and supporting the businesses in Cheadle Hulme. Her four children have even attended the same schools she did. Kate also worked in Cheadle Hulme for many years, run a small business here, organised countless events – PTA Summer fetes, football tournaments and even a bustling Christmas Market.
I Love Cheadle Hulme: bringing the best of Cheadle Hulme to our website visitors and thousands of social media followers, and showcasing all our brilliant local businesses to those local people. We celebrate local businesses, restaurants in Cheadle Hulmeshops and restaurants in Cheadle Hulme.
