HG Professional are very much a family company, set up by Howard Gandy in 2009.  Howard’s wife Anna is the office manager, ensuring the smooth running of the operation. Howard initially worked from home. Being an accountant, he was by nature cautious and wanted to be sure that the right staff and systems were in place before making the move to office premises. A wise move indeed!

Howard qualified as a chartered accountant in 1999. He originally worked for an international firm, and has been working with clients across the North West ever since. Since moving to Cheadle Hulme, he’s really looking forward to getting involved with more local businesses. Howard has a wealth of experience in accounting and taxation. He ensures that HG Professional is focused on providing value to clients over the long-term. HG Professional’s clients believe that Howard and the team excel at helping businesses grow. Indeed, Howard loves to help owners grow their businesses and start earning properly. Being chartered adds another layer of reassurance for HG Professional’s clients. Anyone can set up an accountancy firm, but to achieve and retain chartered status involves a great deal of regulation.
