I LOVE Transform Personal Training, Cheadle Hulme

15 Nov 2016

Esther Farrington set up Transform Personal Training in 2014. Esther’s clearly a bundle of energy and determination – which makes her a great trainer. Esther does everything she can to provide results. She laughs though, and says it won’t come easy. But then, nothing worth having ever does.

Getting results is second nature for Esther. Working for the BBC previously, a results-driven environment is her thing. Transform came about when Esther decided to set up her own business. Her daughter was in childcare from 7am-6pm. Something had to give. Esther was already very fit, with her own PT – and a purpose-built gym at home. She knew she wanted to work in fitness. It was the obvious answer.

Transform Personal Training

Transform specialise in Personal Training, weight management, nutritional coaching and general well-being. Esther passionately believes that given the right advice and guidance, anyone can achieve their goals. Her ethos is simple – ‘transform your Mind, Body and Energy’.

Clients can train at Esther’s fabulous bespoke gym. There are weekly boot camps, Metafit and Insanity classes to help supplement your personal training. Esther is also an expert in pre- and post-natal training, and runs Mum and Baby classes. ANYONE can find the time for fitness – Esther makes sure of that. Lack of fitness is no excuse either – Esther will tailor something for everyone.

What does strike you about Transform is the genuine community feel. Everyone knows everyone and they refer friends and help each other out. This was illustrated beautifully recently. Esther organised a Fashion Show for 1000 Hearts for Harry. Clients gave their time to model and clearly loved every minute. Their smiles lit up the room!

As with any fledgling business, there were early challenges. Esther identified her market – women only. It was tricky to build a client base, the admin side was frustrating, and Esther wasn’t used to isolation. However, it all came together very quickly and Esther is now one of the most often-recommended trainers locally. The best bit, she says, is seeing a client reach her target.

Naturally, Esther LOVES Cheadle Hulme. She lives and works here and her daughter attends Cheadle Hulme School. She loves shopping at Vanilla Fudge, eats out at the John Millington, gets healthy meals from Frankie’s Muscle Fuel and uses Spreadboroughs a lot.

Transform starts at 6am to accommodate those who work long days and there are classes every evening. Her client base is predominantly local – people who want to take back control. As Esther says on her website: ‘No more excuses. Get in touch!’
