Stockport mayor, Bramhall councillors and businesses celebrate I Love Bramhall’s 4th birthday

Popular website and business directory ILoveBramhall.com is delighted to have marked four years of serving the community of Bramhall with a celebratory party, attended by Stockport mayor Linda Holt, local councillors and dozens of Bramhall-based businesses.

I Love Bramhall

On Thursday 16th November, Piccolino in Bramhall hosted a fourth birthday celebration for I Love Bramhall, held in honour of the village’s businesses and key supporters. Bramhall South and Woodford councillors John McGahan and Mike Hurleston were in attendance, along with representatives from many local companies, organisations and church groups.

Partygoers were treated to themed cupcakes made by local cafe Plumcake and entertainment from live musician Ian Lawton. The event was photographed by Chelsea Shoesmith. Click here to see more images

Founder of I Love Bramhall and I Love Cheadle Hulme Wendy Green said:

“After four wonderful years, I Love Bramhall has grown into a real community, encompassing residents, dozens of local businesses, councillors and organisations. We support each other, and that is what has helped put Bramhall on the map as one of the friendliest places to live in the UK.

“I Love Bramhall wanted to mark this milestone with a big celebration for the businesses that have supported us over the last four years, ensuring that Bramhall continues to thrive as a strong, close-knit community.”

During the event, Wendy premiered a special fourth birthday video, which highlights just what local businesses love about Bramhall. The video is available to watch here.

Speaking at the event, Stockport Mayor Linda Holt said:

“I Love Bramhall has really helped connect us councillors with our communities. The events Wendy organises give us the opportunity to speak to local people and discuss issues that are important to them. The service connects everyone – individuals, companies, community groups, churches – and really brings out the best in Bramhall.”

Bramhall councillor John McGahan commented:

“Since the launch of I Love Bramhall, the village feels more united – the annual tea party and other events supported and organised by I Love Bramhall are turning us back into a community.”

Local councillor Mike Hurleston surmised:

“I Love Bramhall is an absolute asset to the community – long may it continue!”

We are looking to celebrating ilovecheadlehulme.com 2nd birthday in February!
