Moxie celebrates 3 years of business networking

Bramhall based Moxie celebrates 3 years of business networking. Over 35 guests celebrated Moxie Mingle’s 3rd Birthday on Thursday at Gusto, one of our favourite restaurants in Cheadle Hulme.

With the sun shining and great mix of regular minglers and new arrivals Jade and the team at Gusto looked after us all very well (as always) with Moxie Mojito’s and a wide range of appetising pizzas. We also had fabulous chocolate and mint Moxie cupcakes made by The Baking Tray who will be at Bramhall Festival this year.

As always there was the Moxie business card draw, congratulations to Stuart Thake from Maestro Insurance for winning the I Love Bramhall mug. Anna Lees from Analysis Legal won our bottle of bubbly, Jane McDowell from Cycle Buddie won at ticket to the next event of her choice and thanks to John Landells from Notebook Repair for giving us an extra prize a “Magic Mount” –  Mark Gough from Folio Photography was our lucky winner.

Wendy Green who hosts Moxie networking events (as well as the Founder of I Love Bramhall) says “it’s all about getting to know your local business owners and professionals in a relaxed and informal way –  and almost as importantly, the people they know too.”

“Many referrals are made through the Moxie network, hence why it is still going strong 3 years from inception.  Our Minglers make strong business working relationships and actually good friendships too.  We always get a good mix of both regulars and new arrivals to each Moxie and have struck the balance of morning meetings for the early birds and evening ones for a bit more of a night out and for those managing the school runs who cannot make mornings.”
