Moxie Mingle At The Kitchen

24 May 2018

One of Cheadle Hulme’s newest businesses, At The Kitchen invited us to Mingle with them yesterday. Moxie LOVES local so we jumped at the chance. At the Kitchen is not just NEW – it’s also VERY different.

At the Kitchen is the brainchild of well-known cook and food stylist, Angela Boggiano and husband Craig Robertson, a food photographer of great repute. If you’ve EVER read a cookbook, you’ll have seen his work!

Angela and Craig have breathed new life into the old Garrat & McGann building on Warren Road, just off Station Road in Cheadle Hulme and brought us a state of the art and innovative Cookery School and event space.

With classes covering everything, you can imagine (seriously – if you don’t see it, ask, they’ll do it) from Tapas and simple suppers to Kids’ pasta-making classes. The light, bright and airy space can also be hired for parties, courses, classes, conferences and almost any kind of gathering you can think of…

Everyone was amazed and impressed by At the Kitchen and we all LOVED the fabulous lunch laid on for us – hot smoked salmon quiche, asparagus and goats’ cheese tart, freshly cooked (right in front of us – OH! the smell…) paella and lovely salads.

I’m sure many of us will be attending more than a couple of cookery courses… The mingling got off to its usual buzzy start and even the newbies settled right in and made themselves at home. Even those who’ve never liked networking before loved to mingle with Moxie. Wendy managed the introductions beautifully, with no more than a minor hiccup, and lots of new contacts and friends-to-be were made.

Join Moxie next time at Reflections in Wilmslow, on Friday 8 June from 10.30am – everyone welcome – book now!
