I LOVED Moxie Mingle at Loona Restaurant
22 Mar 2022Last Thursday, 17 March, we Moxie Mingled at the truly delightful Loona Restaurant on Station Road in Cheadle Hulme. Now, if you’ve not yet sampled the exquisite and authentic Lebanese cuisine at Loona, then you really are missing a treat. This is a genuine family restaurant where everything is cooked fresh by Rana and her lovely team, from the finest ingredients and with incredible flavour and attention to detail. And it’s not just the food that’s first-rate. The restaurant itself is light and airy, with a warm welcome and superb service; nothing is too much trouble. Do try it, there’s something for everyone, from the most conservative diners to the more adventurous tastes.
But still, there’s more. Rana showed us the stunning and welcoming terrace to the back of Loona Restaurant. Comfortable and inviting, lit with pretty fairy lights, this is the perfect space for al fresco dinner or drinks. There’s also a private area on the first floor, ideal for quiet dining or even meetings. Loona has it all.

An Evening of Networking
Our usual mix of informal networking and friendly chatter began as soon as the Minglers began to arrive. From the usual suspects to relatively recent newcomers, Loona’s Rana took good care of us with a well-stocked bar and refreshing iced tea on tap, before we were treated to an amazing array of delicious Lebanese snacks and appetizers – lush houmous with crisp carrots and cucumber, a myriad of wraps and rolls and THE most mouth-watering meat arayes. We’re already big Loona fans and it’s safe to say that now all our Minglers are, too. And, don’t forget, Loona do takeaway and delivery, too.

Houmous, Arayes, Wraps and Chips from Loona
Anyway, back to the networking. It’s just too easy to get distracted when talking about Loona Restaurant’s bloomin’ lovely food. Try the Fattoush. Seriously. Normal salad just doesn’t cut it. And as for the piquant spicy sausages… No, stop! Moxie Networking is for everyone, and everyone loves it. We know this because regulars keep coming and newbies become regulars in no time. There’s no pressure, no pitching, no lockouts and no referral requirements. It’s literally a chance to get to know like-minded people in superb local establishments (often while being plied with fantastic food). What’s not to love? Connections are made, ready to be developed. Who knows where they will lead? We know that many lead to successful collaborations and firm friendships, and all lead to opportunities and often recommendations.
