Moxie Mingled & Jingled at Gusto

5 Dec 2018

It was beginning to look a lot like Christmas when Moxie Mingle Networking Events headed back to one of our favourite haunts, Gusto Restaurant and Bar on Station Road in Cheadle Hulme. Gusto, however, was looking very different following its stylish new refurbishment and reinvented menu…

Moxie minglers were given a warm welcome by Alex and the Gusto team and treated to a drink at the bar. The fizz began to flow, and along with it, the relaxed and chatty conversation for which Moxie is renowned.

Moxie is a professional social networking organisation run by our own Wendy Green, established in 2012. It’s a networking group that requires no hard sell, no referrals required, no membership, no commitment and it is open to all sectors of business.  You can meet sole traders and decision makers from the larger organisations.  The end of the day Moxie is all about developing those all important business relationships and making connections.

A delicious array of Gusto’s delicious pizzas soon appeared along with delectable mince pie pastries, as Wendy embarked upon the introductions. Several new faces – including three new Cheadle Hulme businesses – enjoyed their first experience of networking, and lots of regulars worked the room too.

Introductions over, it was time to relax and rock around the Christmas tree a little. Or certainly to move to the smart and comfy bar area to sample the cocktail menu. The chat and laughter continued long into the evening, far from a Silent Night – and sometimes we even discussed business. This really is the most wonderful time of the year!

Everyone at Moxie wishes you all the happiest of Christmas and a successful New Year. We hope to see you at the Village Hotel on 10 January and at San Carlo on the 31st. Merry Christmas everyone.
