Paint Cheadle Hulme Pink – Pub Crawl

28 Sep 2016

Prevent Breast Cancer are getting increasingly excited to Paint Cheadle Hulme Pink and the Pink Pub crawl starts on Friday!

On Friday 30th September, this spectacular awareness and fundraising campaign sees a ‘Pink Pub Crawl’ take to the streets of Cheadle Hulme (crawling very much optional – we much prefer our supporters upright!).

Thirst Class Ales in Stockport have brewed a special “Booby Trap” beer especially for the event it will be on sale at The Chiverton Tap and some of the other  locations – ALL proceeds will go to Prevent Breast Cancer.

The rules are simple. Get yourself a team together, download a map, or pick one up from one of the above locations on the evening, and then visit each watering hole, purchase a drink, and you’ll receive a stamp from each place.

Download and print the map by clicking here Pink Pub Crawl Map, or pick a map up at one of the participating pubs and you can have as many on your team as you like.

Don’t worry about visiting each location in the one night if you think you may struggle, as you have until Sunday October 2nd to gain all your stamps. Once you have received all your stamps, drop off your map at The John Millington pub by last orders on the Sunday, and you’ll then be entered into a free prize draw, which takes place on Monday 3rd October.

The winning team will receive a food and drink voucher from EVERY location on the map, as a combined prize to share and enjoy together.

As an added incentive, you will also be able to purchase a pink wristband on the night (or from the end of August in all locations if you’re super eager), which entitles you to unique drink offers.

We’d also love you to wear an item of pink clothing to really get into the spirit (pardon the pun) of things.

Various members of the Prevent Breast Cancer team will be available along the route on the Friday with their collection buckets and camera phones at the ready to capture photos of the merriment, all whilst dressed in their bright fuchsia pink charity tutus. Please remember however to drink responsibly, and note that not each drink consumed has to be an alcoholic one. We are not the fun police, on the contrary, we just want you to get home in one piece, so that you can continue to ‘Paint Cheadle Hulme Pink’ all weekend, as you can’t do this from lying in a dark room after taking your pub crawl to the extremes (no one likes a show off!!).

In all seriousness, this is truly going to be a great night, with lots of fun and laughter, but you also will be raising vital funds in the fight against breast cancer, which is definitely a win-win situation in our eyes!

So book your baby/dog/husband sitter, get a team together and come support your local businesses, and help PREVENT BREAST CANCER.
