12 Dec 2016

Cheshire based children’s charity Action for Sick Children are celebrating the success of the “ Somewhere Over the Rainbow88” fund-raising evening which has raised a staggering £1,660 for the cause.

Rainbow88, the popular Cheadle Hulme Chinese restaurant hosted the evening, with entertainment from Stockport-based comedy drag duo ‘ Let Loose Ladies’, along with a ‘cast of volunteers’ dressed as Dorothy, Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, Scarecrow and the Wicked Witch from The Wizard of Oz.

Denise Marsh, a facilitator with the charity and organizer of the event said: “Our host and owner of Rainbow88 Linda Lam and her staff were wonderful as always! ‘Let Loose Ladies’ put on a fantastic show which had the audience in stitches, whilst the cast of volunteers created a great atmosphere. The whole evening was full of fun, laughter and dancing!
